General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of spinal nerve compression.

• How old are you?
• What are your height and weight?
• Do you smoke or consume alcohol?
• Have you any injuries to your spine? Any surgeries?
• Do you have any other medical issues or take any medications?

I recommend:
• A physician consult, neurologist opinion
• MRI of the spine
• Blood tests (complete blood count, blood glucose levels, lipid profile, liver and kidney function tests)

Based on these, a diagnosis can be made. Monitor triggering events (sitting too long, or lying down on a particular side, for instance). Avoid sitting too for more than a half hour at a stretch. Gentle walking helps to improve circulation. Please consult your doctor before doing anything more intense.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
