Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I get severe pain on the left side of head- all through the brain. Causes numbness in the left limbs- arm and leg. I find that my right nostril is blocked and I am breathing through left nostril. Mostly it happens during sleep twice week. This happens even when there is no alcohol consumption. Occasionally , when I consume 50 mm of alcoholic drinks, the triggering of this process is almost certain. How I can take care to cure it.
Numbness of any area in the body is most likely related to abnormal structure or function of the nerves. This may occur due to: (1) vitamin b 12 or folate deficiency (2)stroke (3)ms and other neurological diseases (4)trauma (5)liver or kidney disease (6)diabetes (7)exposure to toxins (8)some hormonal conditions
It would be best to be assessed by your doctor to determine the cause.
In term of the blocked nostril, this is related to rhintis which is inflammation of the nasal passages. It is commonly associated with sinusitis which is sinus inflammation. Treated by avoiding the allergen, oral antihistamines and nasal sprays.
I hope this helps
