What Causes Numbness In Left Arm And Neck Pain?

All of a sudden around 5 hrs ago I felt like I was getting a kink in my left neck and shoulder .it has progreseed now to the point that it feels cold and numb down my left arm and up my neck.and get sharp pains going up my neck If I lay down It hurts to sit back up .is this just a pulled muscle .?

I do understand your solicitousness

“As” per your clinical history is concerned your problem is due to [cervical sponylosis]for which you require a detailed examination by a neurologist and do one MRI scan. You can take drugs, such as cyclobenzaprine or methocarbamol which may avail assuage muscle spasms in the neck.Do apply heat and ice to neck and use a neck brace for few days.

So consult with your physiotherapist and he will edify you which exercise is best for you.Unless you get result within a month then you can discuss about surgical procedure with your doctor.
