What Causes Numbness In Jaw Line And Arm With Anxious Feeling?

I have been unwell for 2 weeks now, with severe fatigue - unable to get dressed staying in bed or some days able to get to the sofa. I have been advised i have a upper respiratory viral infection - throat, ear and sinuses. Prior to this one month before i had a sinus infection and took a course of antibiotics, however i have not felt fully well since then. I have had several sinus infections in the past and have also suffered with depression for several years.

other symptoms i have are numb/swollen jaw line, nausea, tight chest pain, numbness in arm occassionally, anxious feeling, sharp pain in stomach, loss of apetite.

i am starting to look into other possible causes and am wondering if i potentially have ME (CFS) are you able to give any advice on how to find out if this is the case?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I can understand your emotions. The doctor who is treating you should be aware of your condition and he is doing what he can. Meanwhile, being anxious in relation to current illness is common with every person, I think you are doing it a bit more.

You are anxious due to the current health condition. Fine. That is normal. But wisely, you should talk to your doctor regarding this and work with him for a complete cure. Obsessing with your illness could develop into health anxiety chronic. Please do not misunderstand me and never ignore my suggestion.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
