What Causes Numbness In Arm After Getting An Anesthesia?

Hi, I just had a tooth extracted today and was given anesthesia through an IV in my right arm. I m now taking norco for the pain and my right arm has been falling asleep on and off all day. What do you think it is a result of? The IV or the painkillers?

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that it is due to IV anesthesia that you are feeling tingling and numbness in your forearm.I would recommend you to show it to your doctor if symptoms are worsening.
Some time it can be due to nerve compression in the neck also. It can be confirmed by X ray of the neck. if there is any nerve compression than you need to avoid using very high pillow, Take Pregabalin M tablet daily and also use a soft cervical collar.
Hot water fomentation will also be helpful.
Thanks
