What Causes Numbness And Pain In The Upper Legs?

Hi, I have a numbness/weakness in my upper legs and then down into my ankles and feet it is extreme pain like sharp stabbing knifes. It constantly feels like this. I can t sleep very much. So Before I felt like this I only had slight numbness in my legs. Then I went to the ER for the numbness/pain and that s when they realized I had gall stones. So a month ago I had gall bladder surgery and they removed it. That was Mother s Day. Ever since then I have been feeling what I said above. And went back to the ER twice and they ran many tests, including blood work, CT, MRI, and an ultrasound on my legs. Everything came back fine. So they said that they couldn t diagnose it and need to see my primary doctor to get a referral to see a neurologist. Could you give me your option on what s wrong with me and how to fix it? Please I am suffering and can t even pick up my babies. I need help.
