What Causes Nose Bleeds?

hi. i started birth control pills last month on the 18th and have been taking 1 pill a day as directed by my doctor. monday i started getting nosebleeds. i had a nosebleed monday night for almost 10 minutes, last night for about 2 minutes, and tonight, a few minutes ago for 2 minutes. is this related to the birth control? or could it just be allergies or dry nasal passages?

Noted your history of had a nosebleed monday night for almost 10 minutes, last night for about 2 minutes, and tonight, a few minutes ago for 2 minutes.
That you are on birth control.

This may not be related to the birth control tablet. It may be due to a local problem in the nose in the form of an infection, ulcer, growth, torn blood vessel and so on.

Also check for you blood pressure.
I would advise you to consult an ENT Surgeon to have clinical evaluation, local examination of the ENT to decide the cause and give you an appropriate treatment.
