What Causes Nose Bleeding?

I found out Monday I have pneumonia. Went to the ER thinking it was just asthma. Well, I've been on antibiotics and it doesn't seem to be helping. I started getting nosebleeds today which is concerning me a little. I feel like I'm drowning. Do I need an otc like mucinex to help with the mucus? I'm currently taking azrithmycin, prednisone and albuterol inhaler.

Dear, nose bleeding could be due to the side effect of antibiotics though its not very common, however, there are other causes of the bleed like blood pressure or increase in pressure due to persistent coughing, crusting in nose resulting in nose picking, thus I suggest a visit to your ENT specialist to rule out the problems and management of the same
