What Causes Nose Bleeding And Swelling?

12 year old girl playing softball got hit directly in the eye which she was wearing glasses. the ball moved the glassed toward the inside skin close to the nose leaving a quarter size blood mark under the skin. the outside of the corner of the eye cut and bleeding. The nose bleed for about 10 minutes. The eve turned black and blue and swelled almost shut. Is there anything that should be done or watched for

hello, thanks for your query, hit on eye, leading to nasal bleeding and black eye could be due to injury to nasal septum or bone leading to opening of nose vessels and black eye could be due to injury to orbit or eye. kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon and eye surgeon for further assessment and proper treatment. all the best. take care.
