Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Just recently While performing oral sex on my guy my nose started bleeding for the first time. I have never bled from my nose like that for any reason until now. I cleaned up and kept going 3 more times but everytime I did i kept bleeding. Should i be worried? Do i go get checked up? Is there a major underlying issue? P.s. I was sick for a full week with a bad flu before performing on him. Does that have anything to do with that?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Oral sex is not associated with nasal bleeding. Nasal bleeding can occur due to trauma to a vascular area in nose called Little's area. There could be trauma to Little's area while performing oral sex and this could have lead to profuse bleeding. Applying pressure or pinching nose is best immediate management for bleeding. Nasal packing can thereafter control the bleeding. A past history of flu is not likely to be associated with profuse nasal bleeding. Just prevent any kind of trauma to the nasal mucosa in future. You can get a clinical assessment by an ENT specialist to look for any other lesion in nasal cavity which could have caused the bleeding.
