What Causes No Sperm Leakage After Intercourse?

I am married & also want a baby. But after sex my sperm cannot come out. My right testis is small. DRE showed 15 gm BPH with normal primary sex organs and sex characters. my FSH level was 4.44 mIU/ml. urine for sperm level was 2-3 /hpf and urine showed normal study. My doctor suggests me to take Tab. Ephedrine (15 mg) 1 tab 15 minutes before sex (contd.) My Questions is: 1.     Is this the right medicine? 2.     Is there is any permanent solutions, I relay want to release from this pain. I am a male, 37 years. - Mamun

Hello sir and welcome.

Ephedrine will help by reducing swelling of the prostate which is most probably causing the difficulty in releasing/blockage of your semen.

In ny opinion this is currently the right medication, at least until you can release your semen. Once conception takes place you can undergo surgery or initiate medications for BPH (dutasteride and tamsulosin).

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
