What Causes No Fetal Heart Beat At First Month Of Pregnancy?

I am about 7 weeks pregnant..my period started the 18 of august 2014..went to do an ultrasound today..there was no embryo/fetus or heartbeat, the doc even went inside and still nothing, she says to come back next ten days but I am so scared, is it normal? I heard it could be an misscariage..can some one help me out..I feel so depress and stress.

I have gone through your question.
7 weeks pregnancy must have gestational sac and heart beats if viable fetus is there.
If no emryo there then might miscarriage taken place. Or no fertilization have takem place.
Ultrasound scan after 10 days confirm the picture.
