What Causes No Cardiac Activity Of Fetus During Pregnancy?
hey Doctor , I want to ask that one of my friend is 8 week pregnant, but doctors said there is no cardiac activity found, she had an abortion before with the same case.. can I ask if there is some way to revive the fetus's heart and why is the problem occurring with her ?
Hello, Most often, early trimester abortions occur due to one of the following reasons-genetic defects which include embryonic formation defects like blighted ovum, which are the commonest cause, hormone insufficiency, uterine anatomical defects, trauma and drug and disease effects. If the products of conception during the earlier abortion were evaluated for the likely cause, it is possible to plan management if future. As of now, in this pregnancy, if the fetal demise is confirmed there can be no revival and an abortion has to be induced with proper collection of the abortus for further study. Hope this helps.
