What Causes Night Sweats And Cold?

College son reports 1 night last week with night sweats and 1x this week. Insect bite 5 weeks ago and treated with prednisone 60mg x 4 days. Has allergies--on alevert as needed. Reports allergy/cold symptoms a couple days. Will schedule an appt. Just was concerned.

You are taking correct treatment for inflammation relief induce by allergy ...

Usually in insect bite sterod shot might taken in such case ...
You are using oral steroid which is also effective .....

Your son having allergy history ...
So try to rule out source of allergy and allergy testing can be done ex..patch test

If bitten area suggestive bacterial infection ex.by pus formation than antibiotic might needed. ..
