What Causes Neck Pain Radiating To Jaw And Behind Ear?

I have neck pain that extends to my jaw up behind my ear to my right temple. It just appeared last night after dinner and has not gone away. It has gotten slightly better in 24 hours but is still present and annoying. Should I see a doctor? Any thoughts on what it could be? I have taken Ibuprofen but doesn't seem to help.

After going through your query I concluded that you are having cervical spondylitis. It can be confirmed by x ray cervical spine AP and lateral view. You are already taking ibuprofen. You can continue with it. Diacerine and glucosamine are helpful. You should visit a doctor and get your x ray confirm it. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
