What Causes Neck And Shoulder Pain With Headache?

Well I have been having headaches pretty consistent for about a month, not everyday. But also in the past 3 or 4 days, I have been having left neck and shoulder pain. Right now, it is radiating down my left arm, hurts the shoulder and neck more when I cough......does this require immediate attention ?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having cervical spondylitis or cervical disc prolapse. Treatment of it is rest,Diacerine and glucosamine. Analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief can be useful. Vitamin B and C is helpful in recovery. Mecobalamin is helpful in numbness and tingling. It does not seem to me as very urgent but it needs attention. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
