What Causes Nausea With Stomach Pain?

I had diarrhea Saturday night. Sunday when I woke up I was dizzy, my vision was blury and I started I get a head ache. Soon after my head ache turned into a migrane, I felt nauseous and I threw up. Now it s monday I felt fine when I woke up around 10 my head started to hurt so I took Tylenol and went to work. At 12 I started to feel nauseous again and I was dizzy. A little before one I threw up again, now I m at home laying in bed with stomach pains feeling like I m going to get sick again. Help what s wrong with me :(

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of nausea with stomach pain which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis which is a type of viral infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take proper rest. You should take plenty of fluids to rehydrate. You should do tepid sponging as well. You should avoid taking out side food and take oral rehydrating solution as well. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should get blood tests done to find out underlying cause of fever whether bacterial or viral and start treatment accordingly. You can take paracetamol along with antacids/ proton pump inhibitors. Take antiemetic medication as well. Avoid taking cold carbonated beverages and hot and spicy food.
