Hello, My 13 year-old nephew has been having three symptoms- gagging, nausea, vomiting. He has been treated with Nexium, sucrafate (sp), but continues to have the symptoms. They occur at random times throughout the day. One strange side note is that his neck area is sensitive. When he pulls his shirt off , or takes sports helmet off (lacrosse) it seems to be the starting catalyst for the gagging. He has an appointment scheduled with an ENT next week, but I am curious for ideas from this community on possible areas to explore. He is a very healthy boy, otherwise. He eats a pretty clean diet with many low fat dairy, protein, and fruits and vegetables.
