What Causes Nausea And Metallic Taste In The Mouth After Medical Abortion?

I had a medical abortion 3 days ago.. I was 3 weeks pregnant. I had bleeding for just two days and clotting only on the day I took the tablets. I was advised to insert 3 Cytotec , after 4 hours take 2 orally and 24 hours later take another 2. I m worried because it says I should have bleeding for 2 weeks, I have had it for just two days. I am also insulin resistant with polycystic ovaries. I do not get regular perriods, could this be the case? its 3 days after the abortion , I still fell nauseous and have a metallic taste in my mouth.. what do you advise?

Hi I think you should get a ultrasound done to see if there is any retained products of pregnancy or not. You may need further doses of misoprostol. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
