What Causes Nausea And Loose Motions In An Elderly Person??
Woke up about 4 days ago and felt nausea and my bell motion very soft a light brown colour and also thinner than normal. After i have been i still feel as though i need to go again.I am still eating but the feeling of nausea comes and goes. I have had melanoma removed from my lower left leg which seem to be an ongoing problem. I am 77 years old very active.
It might be that you are having symptoms of gastroenteritis (stomach flu) leading to diarrhea associated with nausea. Such a condition can occur if you are taking chemotherapy for melanoma and your body immunity is weak. Diarrhea and related complications can cause severe illness. The most significant cause of severe illness is loss of water and electrolytes. In diarrhea, fluid passes out of the body before it can be absorbed by the intestines. When the ability to drink fluids fast enough to compensate for the water loss because of diarrhea is impaired, dehydration can result.
You must consult your doctor and take medications to stop diarrhea and also take adequate amount of fluids and soft home cooked foods.
