What Causes Nausea And Blood In Stool?

Hello, My name is Sue and I ve been having stomach issues for a while now about 2 years. It started with Nausea and blood in my stool. Recently I ve had weakness and sudden nausea and reflex in which I can t stand up. I ve had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done within the last two years both of which were normal. I ve been so constipated and my stool is yellowish. I won t be able to see the doctor until December but I just don t what to think but the worst. Can you give me some insight or advice on what could be wrong?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of 2 years suffering from nausea and blood in stool. Recently developed sudden nausea and a reflex in which you could not stand up.
Upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy done in past were normal. There is constipation and the stool is yellow, Unable to see a Doctor until December.
You have two different issues.
First is the nausea and there are many reasons for this including gastritis, esophagitis and anything which reflexly can cause nausea and vomiting. This is a symptoms that always says that there is something wrong somewhere.
Hence should have a clinical evaluation and examination and investigations to support the cause and to treat accordingly.
Your another problem is related to the blood in the stool and the causes can simply be hemorrhoids/ fissure/
polyp cancer or so. Hence needs very neat clinical evaluation, examination, per-rectal examination, ano-proctoscopy and colonoscopy to find the exact reason to get a proper diagnosis and proper treatment.
I find this answer helpful
