What Causes Nausea And Appetite Loss While Suffering From PCOS?
I have pcos.I feel weak, nauseous, changes in appetite and most times feel full, frequently urinating and monthly pain even though it s been a year since I have seen my menstrual. I want to start a family soon.my gynecologist gave me painkillers and birthcontrol pill and my cycle didn t come.Should I go back to my gynecologist or is it normal for a pcos patient to be experiencing these symptoms?
Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. Sometimes occasional ovulation occurs in PCO patients and you can get pregnant. If test is negative, you can take some progesterone like deviry or meprate for inducing periods. It is very unlikely not to get periods after having birth control pills. Do a complete evaluation. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to confirm the polycystic ovaries and to rule out any other disorders.
