What Causes Nasal Congestion, Sore Throat And Headache?

Hello,I started out having cold symptoms, stuffy nose, sore throat, some mucus drainage and headache that sometimes radiated down my neck.. Now I have a sharp pain in the left side of my throat when swallowing even when it is just saliva.. There may be no relevance but my right eye has also been twitching all day.. Is this just a cold, or could I have a virus/bacterial infection? Thank you

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain all the symptoms that you have are due to Upper Respiratory Track Infection commonly known as common cold and it is Viral Infection..
Twitching of eye can be due to inflammation of the terminal nerve endings causing irregular impulses and you need not to worry about it as it will resolve gradually as the infection will subside..

You can take medicines to relieve cough and cold symptoms like Antibiotics like Levofloxacin or Erythromycin, decongestant like Pseudoephadrine, mucolytics like Bromohexine, steam inhalation, decongestant nasal spray and do warm saline gargles..
Take sufficient rest..
Do warm compresses at the twitching site..
