What Causes Nasal Congestion, Hypersalivation, Coughing And Breathing Difficulty After Eating?

I am an Rn type 2 diabetic, trying now to control diabetes without medication. Lately, I have noticed within an hour after eating dinner, I have acute nasal congestion and hypersalivation and extreme discomfort with coughing and difficulty with breathing. It subsides after a couple of hours. I usually check my sugar at this time and it is between 160-180. Any suggestions.?

Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear friend .. i have read the symptoms.. it is very unlikely that these symptoms are due to variations in the blood glucose levels... these symptoms suggest some allergic reactions due to cold water u take of some of the food item .. u need to identify your self!!! your glucose levels are ok .. but you need to work more if u want to avoid tablets.. and consistently... try to check your cholesterol and fasting glucose levels also your HbA1c ... every 6 months ... eat more of green leafy vegetables .. more fiber rich food .. do walk ,, meditate practice yoga . you can keep the tablets far .. ALL THE BEST
