What Causes Muscle Twitches And Recurrent Migraines While Suffering From Absence Seizures?

About two weeks ago my husband began going into what seem like absence seizures, it is usually late evening and will happen mid conversation after which he is disorientation and tired. He has several twitches of different muscle groups. He has been having migraines daily. He says it feels like fluid is sloshing around in his head. He has never had migrains or seizures before this past month.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

He may want to consider seeing a neurologist for assessment.

This would include a history of symptoms and any related conditions, examination and investigations.
An EEG which looks at the brain waves would be needed.

He may want to see if there are any specific triggers for his migraines that might be avoided.

I hope this helps
