What Causes Muscle Soreness After Exercising?

I have exercised and dealt with muscles soreness all of my like. I am 33yo female. Lately when I use my muscles I feel extreme muscle and joint pain. For instance, I was lifting light weights with moderate reps and later that afternoon my shoulder and elbow joints felt like someone was prying them apart and the bicep was extremely fatigued and sore. I took an OTC pain reliever and it lessened the pain. It went away after 2 days, but this has been happening a lot lately...yet not every time I exercise or use my muscles

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having muscle pain and fatigue. You are advised to go through some tests such as vitamin D3 and vitamin B12. You can also get your T3 ,T4 and TSH level to know the cause. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin D3 supplements should be taken if it is found low. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
