What Causes Muscle Pain And Stiffness While On Lexapro And Abilify?
my 76 year old brother suffers from depression and had been on Lexapro 20 mg/day for approx. 14 mo. Was also on 5 mg of Abilify/day starting 7-21-16, . These were both DCd and was changed to Zoloft 50 mg/day end of this Oct. He is experiencing muscle weakness and stiffness in legs and arms. Those are side effects of both medications. Could the change bring on these symptoms so quickly. He also has had two back to back UTI s

is it muscle stiffness or an irritability in muscles??? abilify do cause restless of legs. lexapro may cause muscle cramps . but some people can develop unusual side effects too. you can consult your doctor and try changing drug
