My muscles in my back, arms, legs and feet cramp up at different times. My leg muscles in the calf and the front of the upper legs above knees feel agravated and weak when I walk. I lay down, no matter what position, and my back and side muscles hurt. When i wake up in the morining the muscle in my left calf tightens and then it goes into my foot making my toes go up and cramp.
Hello there. I have read through your question and can understand your problem. There are many causes which can cause leg cramps, the most common reason being electrolyte imbalance. Also you said that you have pain and weakness in your muscles which are symptoms of myopathy. I would advice yoy to get your serum electrolytes checked. Mean while keep yourself hydrated. Do stretching exercises before you go to sleep. Take vitamin supplements which contain B12 and magnesium. If you are still not relieved consult your physician. i hope that answers your question. if you have any further questions please feel free to write.
