What Causes Muscle Cramps In Leg And Pain?

I have been having Charlie-horses thru the night and my legs hurt all day long. This started when I began a walking regimen about four weeks ago. I ve had X-rays which reveals no stress fractures and an ultra/sound which shows no blood clot. My rght leg hurts worst when on the gas pedal of the car.

Dear-thanks for using our system. First of all, you started doing an exercise with your legs, your muscles can be sore from this until the get stronger and use to the new routine. You need to make sure that you drink plenty of water and replace the electrolytes that you loose when exercise, those are sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium and chloride. Any decrease in the electrolytes will give you cramps. If you replace them regularly, you shouldn't suffer from it. However, other possibilities as circulation problems or neuropathy should be considered if the cramps persist for more than one week with normal electrolytes in blood.
I hope that my advise has been helpful
