Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Omeprazole taken for
GERD is fine. In Gastro esophageal reflux disease(GERD) gastric contents are refluxed in
esophagus, throat & even mouth due to low lower esophageal sphincter tone.
This makes bad acidic taste,
heartburn, pain/itching in throat and other problem. Don't lay down immediately after having meals. Try to have a little walk after meals.
you might be having
sore throat as well, so Salt Water Gargle can be done too. Mix 1 tsp of salt with warm water in a glass. Gargle for roughly 15-20 seconds and spit out. You can repeat this as needed for 2-3 days. Remember to spit the water after rather swallowing it.
Visit your physician , if problem persist
Don't worry you would be fine
Hoping your query is solved.
