What Causes Mucus In Stool With Irregular Bowels?

Hi, I was recently prescribed terbinafine for a nail fungs and now I have mucous in my stool and abdominal discomfort. Along with this medication I take several others in cluding vicodin as I recently had a disectomy and spinal fusion. Is the mucous and irreguar bowel movements a major concern.

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for choosing HCM, from the given history and the symptoms given here of mucus in stool I could say that, it may not be major concern because mucus in stool is not due to medicine taken neither it seems to be due to any disease but it could be due to diet taken, try to change the diet, and wait for few days if the symptom persist then stool test is must, if you do not have any other GI symptoms like abdomen pain, cramp, nausea, fatigue so it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
