What Causes Mood Swings And Hair Loss After Insertion Of Mirena IUD?

I got fitted with a Marina 6 weeks ago. I have felt very moody and my skin is bad as well as a lot of hair loss over the past few weeks. I don't know if this is attributed to the marina or due to the fact I've had a baby 4.5 months ago and am breast feeding. what would you recommend

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* mood swings can be due to marina, but it will settle down in few months.
* Rough skin/ hair loss is rare possibility. Your recent delivery, breast feeding and related nutritional deficiencies may contribute to that.
I would recommend-
- High protein, iron, calcium, vitamins & minerals rich diet.( milk, fruits, salads, vegetables, dry fruits, honey, sprouts )
- regular skin & hair care ( regular cleaning, oil bath, regular combing/moisturizers,Treatment of hair infestations, acne.)
- daily exercises/sound sleep.
will help.
thanks.
