What Causes Missed Periods And Bright Color Urination?
Hi, I am very concerned with my health. I have missed three periods in a row although I have had the symptoms at the time of the month when it was due to come. I am 25 years old and only missed once which was when I had now started menstruating. I ve also noticed that my pee is a bright colour which started happening after the second missed period. I drink a lot of water and so my pee in the past used to be clear. The last time I saw my periods I also consumed a lot of alcohol on my second day of menstruating. I am not used to consuming that amount and I usually consume very small amounts very rarely. I am starting to get very worried. Please help me out here. Thanks Very Worried
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. In the current scenario, I would suggest a proper clinical evaluation, a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs, a blood test for pregnancy and if this is negative, hormone assay, blood counts and urinalysis. If pregnancy is negative, hormone imbalance is the common cause of the missed period. Stress, sudden weight changes, infection, cysts of the ovary and use of certain medications can lead to this picture. Further management can be planned accordingly. Hope this helps.
