What Causes Missed Period While Being On Glucophage For PCOD?

Hello! I was diagnosed with pcos about 2 years ago and was started on glucophage and progyluton. I took progyluton for two months and since then my periods have been regular. I still take glucophage and my periods have been regular for a year now. O also took clomid for three months, i ovulated but didnt conceive. The last time i took clomid was 3 months ago. Since my period comes on time, it was odd that i missed my period this month (25th nov was my date). I have sore boobs, nausea, lower back pain, dizziness and a lot of clear sticky discharge. However, i took a preg test today and it came back neg. Could i still be preg? Or is it pcos induced irregular period? P.s usually im really dry about a week before my period so this is new Please help

Hi,
As you have been taking Metformin, spontaneous ovulation even without induction is a possibility. Home pregnancy tests can read well only if performed 3-7 days after a missed period. You can have a better conclusion through estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. Your symptoms could mean a very early pregnancy but can also be premenstrual. It is also true that the hormone imbalances of PCOD can cause a missed period. Please maintain a healthy weight, regular exercise and a healthy diet. Take care.
