What Causes Mild Swelling And Stiffness In Knee?

left knee is stiff with minor swelling. I have full range of motion and can walk no problem. It s excessively stiff when getting up after sitting for a while. It feels sore but NOT sore to the touch. Back of the knee feels swollen, but doesn t look swollen. Ibuprofen 600mg along with icing and heating pad helps to a small extent.
