Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. It seems she has chronic demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP): sensorimotor with asymmetrical involvement (multifocal acquired demylinating sensory and motor neuropathy). The most common cause-previous viral infection. Then organism begins to release autoantibody-Ig M against myelin sheath of the peripheral nerves. The another cause is autoimmune disease.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
