What Causes Migraines?
i developed migraines in 2010 and still suffering even now so i ndecided tis year 2012 to go for an HIV test then it became negative then inconclusive,then i decided for the lab one it became positive so i believe iam. are the migraines and hiv related?

There are many causes of headache in AIDS especially the advanced disease, like Tuberculoma, Tuberculolous and cryptococcal meningitis , encephalitis , toxoplasposis and CMV infection. But all of them are there in advanced disease with a low CD4 count. Smitherman published a paper in the journal 'Headache' in 2012 according to which there is relationship between HIV and migraine.
