What Causes Memory Loss In A Patient With High BP?

My mother is 73 yrs old, with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She walks 2x a day and is in pretty good shape. Recently, she begins to fall asleep during meals, crabby, and does not remember conversations especially after she wakes up. Normally, she is very sharp.

the symptoms you are telling may occur in dementia,diabetes,age related degeneration etc.
you should consult a neurologist because proper examination and investigations are necessary to diagnose.
