What Causes Lung Nodules During Bronchitis?

I am a 20 year old female with bronchitis. A 9mm lung nodule was found on my xray. I have smoked very FEW times. In the past 3 weeks I have lost my voice multiple times, and have a had a pretty bad cough. Other symptoms that could possibly be related are : blood in stools for a few years, and common headache on left side of head brought on by what feels like an ear ache. Not sure if all this ties in to the lung nodule being there.. what could the nodule be from?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Bronchitis is inflammation of airways.
It can also cause infection and inflammation in lung parenchyma.
You are also too young (20 years) for lung cancer.
So possibility of inflammatory nodule is more likely in your case.
So no need to worry much.
Start treatment for bronchitis.
Once your bronchitis is cured, this nodule will mostly disappear.
Get done repeat CT thorax once bronchitis is cured.
If nodule is decreasing then no need to worry.
But if nodule is increasing in size then you will need biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
