What Causes Lump On The Inner Thigh And Pubic Area?

I have a small lump on my inner thigh/ pubic area that had squeezed puss and blood. It is hard to the touch and gets very small when it is left alone for a while, but juts out when messed with. It is slightly painful to the touch. I get bad razor bumps and I thought this was just that but it hasn t gone away in a while. I figured it could be an ingrown hair? Very confused and concerned

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
I have gone through your question and i can understand your concern.
These type of patient usually visit my clinica.
1)It can be a collection of pus which need a cut & need to drain it.
2) it may be a infected ingrown hair .
Both of above conditions need antibiotics coverage.
3) possibility is there that it is a lymph node which need a biopsy.

I will suggest you to take antibiotics for at least 5 days
And visit a physician as it may need drainage.

Hope this will help you
