What Causes Lump On Arm After Injecting Drug?
My daughter is an iv drug user, although she says she hasn t been using I know better, drug of choice heroin, but have seen a vial with the letter k in it assuming it is Special K well now she has a lump on her arm it is very sore and she says it is very painful also the crease if her arm,at the elbow is red what could this be?

This is called phlebitis and it's a vein infection and is a serious condition.
She needs this evaluated by a doctor and she needs a course of oral antibiotics since this could, untreated, lead to septicemia and a very serious medical condition
