What Causes Lump Like Feel In Throat While Taking Levothyroxine For Hypothyroidism?

I have a hx of hypothyroidism for almost 30 yrs. I have taken Levothyroxin (currently 88 mcg) during that time. I ve been out of the country for 3+ months attending to what turned into 2 different family emergencies, hence the long duration of the trip. I started splitting the pills a month ago and have not had any for at least a week. Over the past 36 hours my throat has started feeling like it has a lump in it and it feels like it s hard to swallow. Is this related?

You had been taking levothyroxine for 30 years.Difficulty in swallowing can be due to aneamia. Get you HB tested.If i have to treat such a patient i will advise to reatary tab levothyroixine as it is a life long disease.If you are found to have anesmia i will advise iron with folic acid cap till you Hb comrs to normal.
