What Causes Lump Behind The Ear With A History Of Mastoidectomy?

I had a mastoidectomy two years ago. six months ago, give or take, i noticed a soft lump on the scar behind my ear. part of the surgery was to help open my ear canal for drainage. could this be fluid building up on my scar site? it s a soft lump that has grown.

hello, thanks for your query, it looks open cavity mastoidectomy. it's common that you get infection repeatedly. you require ear cleaning ,ear drops regularly. visit an ent surgeon, if necessary send the fluid for culture and sensitivity. hope u have answeed query. all the best. take care.
