What Causes Lump And Heaviness In Breasts And Soreness In Nipple?

I m 59 years old, and generally in exceptional health. No medications. I m going for a sonogram tomorrow to evaluate breast lumps. Two in right breast, one in left. One of the ones in the right breast is painful sometimes. I dind t know about the other lumps. Discovered during mammogram. When I hug someone I feel something, but it feels like it s closer to the chest wall. When I jog, I feel a new heaviness. I m not large breasted (38B), so this is a new sensation for me.Sever hot flashes and night sweats over last 4 months. Right breast nipple seems smaller, and turns very red post-shower when applying lotion. I ve also noticed what appears to be an increase in veins leading into my breast. That is to say, I really notice veins where I never did before.Any thoughts?

Hi
I have gone through your complaints .
Usually painful lumps are non cancerous .cancerous lesions usually painless and cause pain only when they involve skin ir chestwall.you said these lumps recognised in mammogram .mammogram also helpful to characterise the type of lesion.but you didnt mention.its ok.now sonogram is very important to know what type of lesion &also nature means solid or cystic.dont worry multiple swellings means 2 in rt and one in left usually benign that too fibrocystic disease is common.nothing to worry.go for sonogram.nothing is to be done for fibrocustic disease.
Thank you
