What Causes Lower Right Sided Abdominal Pain Along With Constipation And Diarrhea?
Im having severe pain in my lower right side, it hurts wether I change postions like laying in bed or at work. This has slowed me down at work, trying to lift things makes it hurt alot. My bowels change alot, from solid to constipated to diaherra. I just feel really drained alot and I dont sleep well. So all I do is use a heating pad to try to help to ease it. I know its not a period because I had an ablation in 2006.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lower right sided abdominal pain along with constipation and diarrhea . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , food poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance , giardiasis or intestinal Ileus . For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like sea food and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down . I would suggest you to consult gastroelterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history . Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with rantidine . Take one spoon of honey .
