My six year old son has pain in lower left side. His blood tests revealed high glucose level (113 mg/dL) and high Alk Phos (162 unit/L). His urinalysis showed very high RBC and WBC and protein. Are these symptoms of appendicitis or something worse ? Can I find out without a CT scan ?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, this is very mixing kind of phenomenon if the alkaline phosphate is high then it could be renal pathology liver pathology, and others here it need to be correlate with the clinical symptoms this may be due to some viral infection, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
