What Causes Lower Back Pain While Exercising?
Yes, I am 63. Last year I tried strengthening my core by doing Planks. I started having lower back pain after about 6 weeks. I ve been to an Internal Medicine Doctor, Orthopedic Doctor and recently a Rhematologist. I have Rhematoid Arthritis. I have had an X-Ray & an MRI. Negative results on both. My pain happens most when I try to exercise. The Doctors ordered Physical Therapy and I have gone on 3 different occasions and end up in worse pain than when I started. I am gaining weight and I still need to exercise. Can you suggest what I can try next. I am currently on Pain Medication just so I can go to work everyday. PS. I have noticed that when I bend or twist, my back is very uncomfortable- but I am not in pain when I walk, sit or stand. Thank- you .

Hello dear from my opinion regarding your symptoms of back pain on bending or twisting in spite of the therapy I am suggesting if I am to be your treating physician to give you an intra articular disc triamcinolone injection you can take prednisone tablet Athrotec tablet lyrica tablet robaxin
