What Causes Lower Back And Spine Pain?

Hi sir, I am 43 yrs old. I am suffering from back ache. Of late, since a week, I am not able to lie down in any position as it is very painful. I wake up in the morning at 3.00 am due to the pain. There is a dull ache in the whole spine. The lower portion is especially bad. Even sitting is difficult. I have been obese at 165 cm and 96 kgs, with a ponch. Of late I have reduced my weight by eating right and portion control.

I used to chew tobacco till about an year back. I also used to drink.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some degenerative changes in your lumbo-sacral spine giving pinched nerve pain.
Go for physiotherapy and back extension exercise daily.
Avoid more bending and lifting weight.
Take some calcium supplements.
Go for x-ray lumbo-sacral region.
Ok and take care.
