What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

i have burning pain in my lower abdomen. i thought it was a UTI but the test came back negative. I done have the urge to urinate but the other pain is similar to when i have had UTIs. the burning is persistent and very uncomfortable. What is wrong? What can I take to reduce the pain?
