What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

Hi, I was diagnosed with a cold last week and then this week, I noticed a pressure/pain in my lower abdomen. This feeling is usually followed by gas or a bowel movement and then the feeling goes away but only to come back in about 10-20 minutes. The pain has been getting worse. Any thoughts?

Hi,

May i know your age and sex?

Pain in the lower abdomen along with abdominal gas can be due to
Colitis,
Infection of the G.I tract like amoebiasis,giardiasis,
Constipation,
Urinary tract infection,
Appendicular pathology,
Worm infestation etc.

I would like to advise you to get some tests done like
Complete blood count,
Urine for r/e an c/s,
LFT,
USG whole abdomen.
Review these reports with a surgeon.

Meanwhile,you can have these medicines
metronidazole,
rabeprazole-itopride tablet,
Albendazole tablet,
probiotic capsules in the required dosage.
